Welcome to The St. Michael's Irish Centre Website
Providing and maintaining a community centre for the promotion of cultural and social activities for the Irish Community on Merseyside.
St Michael's Irish Centre is like a second home to all of its members and people here are an extended family. There is a wonderful mix of generations so that anyone can turn up and know they will find a friend to have the craic with. Parents can bring children along to play with friends while they relax knowing they are welcome. It is also an excellent place for the more mature members to socialise somewhere they feel comfortable and can spend time with their younger family members.
The Irish Community in Liverpool is extremely lucky to have this great place which you have to be a part of to believe it exists in todays world.
The St. Michael's Centre in Liverpool is the hub for Irish Culture on Merseyside.
If you would like to have a venue for hosting Irish Group activities, please contact us!
The St. Michael's Golf Club, Finn Harps F.C and John Mitchels Gaelic F.C all meet regularly in the St. Michael's Irish Centre. The Irish Community Care Merseyside looks after the Community Care needs and has close links with the St. Michael's Irish Centre and holds events such as the ICCM tea dance each month here..
We have a well stocked Irish Goods shop; your favorite white/black puddings, Barrys Tea, Kimberley biscuits, Old Time Irish marmalade etc. are all available. The shop is open every Saturday and Sunday and will open on request any evening.
Our Family Fun Days are an opportunity for local talent to perform live!
We use these nights as additional Fund Raising Events.
You can join an Irish Language class, learn to play Irish music , learn Irish Dancing, have fun in the Ceili classes or simply soak in the genuine warm, welcoming atmosphere with a pint of Guinness! The centre is licensed so come and join the craic!
